Why We Sell Firewood

Movement of any/all firewood from infested and/or quarantine areas is prohibited in accordance with the Pennsylvania Plant Pest Act of 1992. All such regulated firewood will be confiscated and destroyed. First time offenders will be issued a warning letter by Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, with repeat offenders subject to prosecution according to provisions in the Pennsylvania Plant Pest Act. Even if you are not within a quarantine area using local firewood is best. Do not take wood home with you and do not leave firewood - Burn It!  - More Information -

Primitive and Semi-Primitive sites are available. Primitive sites offer a more seclusion while the semi-primitive sites are closer to the main campground and shower houses.

Set within the hemlocks, these sites are conveniently located a short walk from parking/equipment drop off areas. They have access to the shower house/bathrooms and include a picnic table and fire ring. Each site is approximately 20' x 20' and can comfortable accommodate two four-man tents. If you are looking for additional privacy these remote sites will best fit your needs.

Semi-Primitive

Semi_primitiveEasy and accessible doesn’t mean you have to give up the camping experience. These drive-up access sites are great for groups offering easy access to the shower house and bathrooms, a more open setting with the same amenities as our primitive site.
